All i know Gaming Evolved is AMD initiative that similar to Nvidia TWIMTBP program where graphic maker like AMD and Nvidia working closely with game developer to optimized the game for their hardware. The only thing i hate about this was no game can be Gaming Evolved or Nvidia TWIMTBP title at the same time Well i got few problems with some of the latest pc games.some of them like Dishonored,Outlast. Are kind of freezing. I mean its not a lag,it just freezes(or lags dunno how to spell it correctly) for a second and then starts again(expecially with Dishonored) when i start the game it lags at the beginning,then stops,1/2 sec. 'Power now' is in the Advanced menu and then CPU Configuration menu. It doesn't work maybe those games are just not optimized for AMD cards. I think the CPU is causing a bottleneck. Can someone affirm it? I've experienced something similar with BF3 back in the days, when i used AMD Phenom II 940 x4 3.0 ghz - AMD Radeon 5770 1gb. It is called stutter, also known as lag stuttering. (geofelt explained it futher and how to test it in this link) Happens when i set the graphics higher than the hardware(CPU) limit.
